...know which dating plan to use?
Since Rudolf Steiner's intention was to begin the Calendar of the Soul's course through the year with the first verse at the movable date of Easter and ending it with the fifty-second verse the week before subsequent Easter, the verses have to be dated differently every year in order to answer to his intentions of dating the verses. The Calendar of the Soul's dating plan of the current year
will always aim at fulfilling these intentions, which makes this dating plan the one to recommend.
However, Rudolf Steiner emphasized that one could date the verses starting with April 1 for a continuous dating plan running from year to year.
It is also possible to use the original dating plan from 1912/13, when the Calendar of the Soul was published for the first time and the 1918/19 dating plan that differs slightly from the previous and has been updated by Rudolf Steiner specifically for the second edition published in 1918/19.
